Here's what we're about...
Prairie Trail Livestock was founded by owner/manager Beth Clappison in 2009 with her herd of ADGA registered dairy goats and a very small herd of beef cattle. Over the last 15 years, PTL has evolved to include a herd of commercial cattle (run on a separate property), a small herd of meat goats, and Sebastopol geese.
About five years ago, a friend of Beth's talked her into purchasing a few miniature cows and a young, mini Highpark bull to add to her business. From there the mini herd has grown to about 20 miniature Dexter and Highland cows.
The little cows are a newer venture and the goal is to produce small, stocky, fluffy cows that are calm and gentle while maintaining
the structural soundness needed for a long productive life.
